This site is for military personnel and their families relocating to Fort Lewis or Mcchord AFB, now known as "Joint Base Lewis-McChord ; or JBLM". The Cities of Lacey, Olympia, Dupont, Tacoma, Puyallup and Seattle serve as the hub for housing, restaurants, lodging, entertainment and much more for soldiers and airmen at JBLM. The population of these areas around the bases is approx 926,000. This site provides information in advance of your arrival to JBLM about on & off base housing. You can use your BAH one of three ways; rent on base, rent off base or purchase a home. If you wish to rent on base call the JBLM housing office at 253-912-2150, if you want to rent off base; i.e. an apartment or single family house feel free to view the available options on this site or call back to the JBLM housing office. The third option is Homeownership.
